This dog was saved from certain death by a dedicated and very clever shelter volunteer who, after the shelter returned the dog to the owner, paid him to give Khia back to her. There is evidence that the owner had been fighting her. She is a wonderful dog, in spite of her horrid history, and is now on her way to rescue.
