THE RULES:
As a volunteer transport coordinator, I am dependent upon what the sending facilities tell me regarding our passengers' temperments. The very nature of rescue transport creates inherent risks for those who participate in it. Even the most good-natured dog may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and cooped up with unfamiliar dogs, and in consequence may act in uncharacteristic ways. Neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport.
If you wish to adopt a dog you have driven, you must go through the appropriate channels - namely, the receiving rescue. Please remember these dogs are spoken for by the receiving rescues. NO DOG LEAVES THIS TRANSPORT.
Please do not bring your own personal pets on this transport. This can create a number of potential risks. It is also not advised to bring small children along on transports.
Overnighters: Please take appropriate precautions when overnighting dogs.. I always recommend keeping your overnight guests segregated from your own pets for many reasons. We only know what we've been told about the passengers on this transport from the sending shelters and as such, cannot make any guarantees.
