*****Disclaimer - I am dependent on what the senders tell me about our passengers' temperaments, The very nature of rescue transport creates some risk for those who participate; even a good-natured animal may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and cooped up with other unfamiliar animals, and therefore may act in uncharacteristic ways. As a Volunteer Transport Coordinator neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport. By agreeing to transport you agree that risks are involved and will not hold anyone involved responsible should an incident occur.

PLEASE RE-TWEET: RT @SEPETRESCUE #RESCUE: Chattooga County Animal Control/Summerville Ga. Donations Needed To Save These Three Lives http://bit.ly/6WjIMb

PLEASE FORWARD/CROSSPOST

The volunteers at this shelter work so hard to save them so they will not have to suffer a painful, prolonged death in the shelter's gas chamber. These animals have committed rescue but funds are needed for vetting before they can be moved to their foster homes.

Please, donate if/what you can -- all donations add up -- to help them save these lives. Then please forward/crosspost this message so that others may also have the opportunity to save them.

Thank you. -- Suzanne

We need to raise $85.00 for each dog to be vetted - then they can go to their foster homes up north. Please help us to save their lives.

If you can help, please go to www.aaccwecare.com to donate whatever amount you can. These three are special boys and we want nothing more than to see them have a Happy New Year.

If you have questions please contact Kimberly Murphy at kamurphy39@hotmail.com

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY.

This is for 6 dogs that were from a BYB seizure..they need to be moved asap.
We need to have 2 cars for each leg (due to the number of dogs)
all dogs will have their 1st set of shots and a health certificate..but won't be altered until they get to Canada. NO crates will be supplied but it is STRONGLY suggested the males be crated.
there will be two males and four females. We suggest a male in each car.

also need to move 2 dogs from the same seizure to Buffalo so they can find there way to Toronto...if someone can help with doing legs 1, 2, 3 on Sunday Jan 10th please let me know.

If you know anyone that can help with this urgent transport please ask them...cross post allowed!

Hello Transport Drivers!

This run is coordinated by: Alan

ORIGINAL POST:

Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue is requesting your
assistance in getting Hannah from her temp foster home to
her long term foster home in TX.

Hannah is a middle aged girl who has had a rough life. She has
a heart murmor, is extremely thin and has a few other medical
issues. Her new foster mom is a vet so she will get the best care
possible.

Because of her issues we are making this a short 2 day transport.

As usual, ALL legs are f-le-x-i-b-l-e.

If you are in between stops, but willing to help, email us with your
location and we'll discuss the possibilities of rewriting the run sheet
to accommodate you.

Also, you all are out there driving and know your roads better than we
do. If you need extra time added to the leg, please let us know when
you
volunteer and we can tweak the times to account for construction and
high traffic areas.

REMEMBER!: Many of the groups that we coordinate for are 501c3
non-profit. IF YOU FILE THE LONG FORM, you can use your transport
services as a tax deduction.

PLEASE FORWARD/CROSSPOST TO SAVE THESE DOGS

I just received this message from someone who knows this rescue. Please could you forward/crosspost if you are not able to help. These animals must be rescued, fostered or adopted to avoid almost certain death at the shelter from which Holly rescued them. -- Suzanne

http://www.garottie.org/available-for-adoption/available-furbabies

Rural Georgia Rottie Animal Rescue has come to the aid of many urgent dogs. Holly has gone above and beyond to save dogs from being euthanized in shelters. She recently lost her lease and has to postpone rescue until she finds another location. In the meantime, she desperately and urgently needs to re-home the animals in her care or be forced to surrender them to the shelter. They faced almost certain death when she rescued them and they would face this destiny again.

If you can find it in your heart to give one of these dogs a home it would save a life and take the weight off Holly. These dogs must be moved in approximately one week. [THis message was written on 1/2/2010.] If you cannot rescue, foster or adopt an animal, please crosspost for them to give them a chance at life.

Rural GA Rottie Animal Rescue is located in Butler GA. Please email Holly right away if you can help:
Holly Schughart, Founder and President: ruralgarottieanimalrescue@yahoo.com

All animals are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations (DHLPP/DAPPV2, Rabies, Bordatella), micro chipped, & canines are currently on a heart worm prevention regimen.

Some of these dogs are HW+ or have other information that is available to you if you are interested in one of them. This information can be furnished by the rescue upon request.

These are the dogs needing homes:
