PLEASE SHARE:  Transport help needed!  Beautiful Miss Molly Brown needs her HW treatment.  She has an adopter waiting patiently to bring her home but needs to be treated first.  We were able to locate a vet with the meds she needs (thanks to Save a Lab rescue for their collaboration & help!) but we need to get her there - over 7 hours away - and during the week!!!!!  We also need someone in or near Greensboro, NC to pick her up on Friday and keep her overnight for us until Saturday's transport as the vet is not open on the weekend for pickup.

LEG 3:  Lavonia, GA to Gastonia, NC – 2 hours 15 minutes – 130 miles

11:15 a.m. 1:30 p.m.  NEEDED

LEG 4:  Gastonia, NC to Greensboro, NC – 2 hours – 109 miles

1:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.  NEEDED

Pickup at the vet in Greensboro, NC on FRIDAY 10/28 and overnighted until Saturday transport also needed!!

*IMPORTANT RESCUE INFORMATION*
If you are a 501c3, youll need to make sure that your rescue info is up to date with the shelter. Please dont forget this most important step! Contact the shelter prior to the animal being picked up to make sure this info is complete and accurate. The $25 adoption fee is waived for 501c3s. You may place a hold on an animal for 72 hours. If the animal is not picked up and no further arrangements have been made with RCAS at the end of the 72 hours the hold will be removed.
To put a hold on a dog we need the following information:

If the animal is not currently spayed/neutered, it must be before it leaves the shelter, therefore occasionally same day pickup is not possible.

Neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport.

URGENT!!!  All of the PETS below are at Gaston County Animal Control in Dallas, NC. Click this link for directions and hours: http://www.co.gaston.nc.us/AnimalControl/HoursContactDirections.HTM 

They are labeled "AVAILABLE TO RESCUE/HUMANE GROUPS" and "OWNER CONTACT" (in pink) and are set to be euthanized at 8:00 am on their respective "Release Dates" referenced below.

lepodz@yahoo.com BEFORE 8:00am am on the respective "Release Dates" below and put in the subject line "URGENT DO NOT EUTH TAG#__ (you must put tag number(s) of pet(s) you can take.  There is no fee for rescues to take these any of the pets labeled "Rescue Group” at any time, or “Adoptables” 10 days from “Admitted Date”.

***The "Remarks" section gives information on the pets taken by kennel staff in the initial few moments they are brought into the shelter... at a time when pets are scared and under tremendous stress.   The pets are NOT re-evaluated so please take into consideration that "Remarks info" could be subject to change...and that "skin conditions" can be anything from matted fur to flea allergies to poor diet to a more serious skin disease, and "bite quarantine" can mean the dog scratched someone.  "Poor Body Score" can mean pets are considered thin or overweight.
