We are offering ROUND TRIP FUEL REIMBURSEMENT – PLEASE help us fill these empty legs. Traveling via I55 and I57. We have two 3-month-old Malinois puppies and a 1 year old male Malinois currently in Louisiana and headed to their foster homes in northern Illinois. We have foster homes waiting for them, PLEASE help us get them home for the holidays. All legs are flexible.

Sweet Black Beauty was supposed to come to Canada last weekend but a bad storm in KY prevented her leaving... I know it will be Boxing Day but please see if you or someone you know can spare a couple of hours to help her finally get here. BB is blind in one eye and so has zero chance of being adopted in Rowan Co.! As an added incentive, we are also taking Issy, a cute small Basenji mix girl, into our program, and other dogs too if possible. Let us know what your car will safely carry! Please help these deserving dogs get to rescue for the New Year!!

TIMES AND LEGS ARE VERY FLEXIBLE... PLEASE let me know if I should tweak something so it will work better in your area!
Drivers, please bring along a couple of slip leads or extra collars and leashes, water and a bowl. In order to avoid added stress to the traveling dogs, as well as possible fights or flight, we request personal pets be left at home during the transport. Children are very welcome but only adults or older kids should be handling the dogs during transfers. Even nice dogs are stressed during a run, and may lunge in play or in fear; children under 12 are not usually big enough to hang on to a suddenly pulling dog. Collar snugness should be checked at every stop, and dogs should be leashed before opening the car door. All dogs must be double leashed during transfers and during overnights, no exceptions. The number of lost dogs this Fall has been very high, let's work to bring those numbers back down for 2010.

Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue is requesting your
assitance in getting Checkers, Holly and Tessa from their temp
foster homes to their long term foster homes.

Checkers, Holly and Tessa are 3 of quite a few english setters
that are all being given up by their breeder. We have a few more
that are going south to foster homes in AL and TX.

As usual, ALL legs are f-le-x-i-b-l-e.

If you are in between stops, but willing to help, email us with your
location and we'll discuss the possibilities of rewriting the run sheet
to accommodate you.

Also, you all are out there driving and know your roads better than we
do. If you need extra time added to the leg, please let us know when
you volunteer and we can tweak the times to account for construction and
high traffic areas.
